As the title says, we can now make games for the iPhone (and the iPod Touch).
The actual process of registering as a business for iPhone development required a bit of back and forth. Our initial submission took about two weeks, after which Apple contacted us to request some additional information. We were required to fax a few government documents, but that part only took a single business day to process.
We currently have no concrete plans to bring any original games to the iPhone — it is a rather crowded marketplace, to say the least, so we’d have to properly plan something like that (especially with the new API on the horizon) — but we’ll be certainly looking into it. In the meantime, we’ll be using the license to develop an iPhone port of Kelvin’s Space Ranch!
